The show started with a song from the 5 male contestants

The first performer wass Sarah Craddock and she is sponsored by Robert Shainline Photography and Video. Sarah enjoys fishing, softball, lifting weights and is inspired by Mariah Carey. Sarah will be singing 
"What a Wonderful World"  by Louis Armstrong


Second performer was Shane Gil who is sponsored by Howards Restaurant. Shane recently graduated from LBHS and now is attending State College of Florida. His favorite hobby is doing handstands, and he would like to dedicate his song to Denise Amber Lee and her family. 
He will be singing ‘One Song Glory’ from the musical ‘RENT’

Bethany Barnthouse was up third and she is sponsored by Riverwood Golf and Country Club! When Bethany isn’t obsessing over Nick Jonas, she loves to partake in musicals, recently starring in "The Wedding Singer" and "AIDA".   Bethany will be singing ‘The Climb’ by Miley Cyrus


Fourth was Micah Cole, Micah is sponsored by Englewood Animal Hospital and Babe’s Ace Hardware. Micah attends LBHS and is a sophomore. He likes to play piano and guitar and is a member of the ROTC. He will be performing ‘1, 2, 3, 4’ by the Plain White Tee’s.

Next was Tory Rake, also a sophomore and sponsored by Autowise and Ace Hardware. She enjoys listening to Toby Mac and reading. Tory will be singing ‘You Were Mine’ by the Dixie Chicks 

The background for each performance was a huge screen that was showing the audience a view from a roaming video camera. 
Here are the judges (which were facing away from me) 
on the big screen talking to the performers.

Judges for this show were Sally Lutz, Lemon Bay High School English Teacher and trained vocalist;  David Dignam, Owner of Key Agency and former theatre parent and volunteer;  and Steve Baumann, Englewood Sun Herald Editor and support of Lemon Bay High School Theatre

Cole Mars is sponsored by Identity Stronghold and is currently attending Vineland Elementary School. He plays in a baseball league and loves Selena Gomez. He will be singing “Everywhere” by Michelle Branch.

7th was Kayla Kraft.  Kayla is sponsored by Susan Sutton Accounting and tax Services. Some of Kayla’s hobbies include cheerleading, photography, and theatre. She looks up to Taylor Swift for inspiration. She will be singing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ by Celine Dion


Emily Stuckey was 8th, and was sponsored by Dr. Ehrlich orthodontist for children and adults. Emily also attends LBHS and is a junior. Emily plays soccer and runs cross country. Her favorite performer is Martina McBride because she is confident and amazing.Emily sang 
‘Before He Cheats’ By Carrie Underwood


Nancy Turpin was the next contestant. She is the youth pastor at 
West Coast Church and will be singing “Save Me”. 
Nancy is sponsored by the 5678 Dance studio.


Next up is David Skehan, he is sponsored by Pearls of Faith. 
David is a sophomore at Lemon Bay, and enjoys playing tennis when 
he isn’t singing. His favorite group is Hillsong United, and his vocal inspiration is Contestant #11 Vanessa Morris.  David performed 
a song by his favorite group Hillsong United.


Vanessa Morris was #11 and was sponsored by Kiwi Express.
She enjoys church, swimming, and writing in her free time. 
Her vocal inspiration is Contestant #10 David Skehan, and she 
will be performing Dearly Loved by Jimmy Neadham.


The final contestant was Gus Reyes. Gus is sponsored by his family 
and children Veronica, Jessica, Sarah, Manuel, and Tereasa. 
Gus works in sales and construction, but shares the same passion 
as everyone else; singing. He loves listening to Josh Grobin. 
Gus sang 'Kissing a Fool’ by George Michael.

 There was a short intermission while votes from the audience were counted in the lobby.  A $1 donation allowed you to vote one time for your favoite singer... but you could vote as many times as you wanted :)
